[Lost in shadows]

good

I did as you said and watched "lost in darkness" first. I like what you've done with these 2 movies. I like how this one showed the events of the first movie, yet showed what was really going on. Great concept!!
Good work and I hope to see more from you in the future.

this was ok

the movie was ok, the style of it was nice. But nothing much happened in it! This movie could of kicked arse if only something more than a dude moving round in the same few scenes occured.
anyways is was a good effort.

um, yeah

that was alright. BUT you really need to put a preloader on it!!! I had to watch a jumpy piece of crap the first time round, half of which didn't have any music. Then I had to wait for it to finish loading then play it again.
When it was fully loaded everything was fine and it was an ok movie.
not having preloaders really piss a lot of people who vote off, especially since newgrounds provides one for you that you just have to put in your movie.

[A Short Litle Story]

that was pretty good.

when you said that this was your first flash I immediately expected some stupid crappy movie with unanimated stick figures moving round the screen to stupid shit, and I was greatly mistaken!
your art was nice, I liked the style of your characters and your backgrounds were good as well. For a first submission you even managed to make a nice little plot, even if it was a bit short.
the only downfall was the lagging sounds, but other than that this was a really good flash!!
keep up the good work, I'm betting I see some good movies from you in the future! =)

that was soooo damn funny!!!!! I loved how you used the photo's as back drops, you made it work perfectly!!! and the idea of a giant x-mas tree and a ....err, candle thingy, battling it out was awesome!
this is definantly one of the most original flashes that I've seen. Great work! 5/5

damn that was funny!! I love it!
the art was very nice, strong lines and good colour. Pretty much everything about this kicked arse! A few more sounds maybe, like some screams from other insane inmates or something like that. The humour is this was just so well executed!

wow, that was really good!

I really liked that movie. At first I wasn't sure what it was going to be about, with all the happy people and stuff. But then when the elevator scene started I realised what the social comentary was about with all the happy people. I thought you showed the grim aspects of human existance well. One of the comments before mine said there were better ways to illustrate your point, like paradox, irony or duplicity, not disturbing images, gore and death. Well I think this guy is wrong! You portrayed these events in the way they really are, stark, brutal and disturbing. THIS IS REAL LIFE! To use any of the means they suggested to get your point across would simply be doing what you were commenting on with the start of the movie, and that is pretending everything is all warm and fuzzy, sugar coating the reality of the subject. Life is pain and death, and you've touched upon this with your movie. Great work!!

p.s. I particularly love the seen with the people "working the land". Seeing you portray the earth and tree's as blleding living things we are destroying was great imagery!

I normally hate sprite animations, so I was a bit hesitant after reading your warning. But I love Queen, princes of the universe has got to be one of my favourite songs, so I watched it anyways. I'm glad I did because it damn well rocked!!! =) I was laughing the whole way through. Good job, that was awesome.
I loved it when the little pink link was shredding the guitar solo!! and those lightning strikes on the drum solo perfectl accentuated the music.
again, great bloody job!!
