damn!!!

that was some of the coolest stuff I have seen!!!! So unique, so original, so twisted!! I loved it.
the animation was so smooth and fluid, all the scene transitions were perfect. You weaved a wonderful morbid tale. This has so much style!!!

that was cool!

your art is really cool, its nice and dark. Your main vampire dude looks great! I like his outfit, if I saw him in the street I'd kill him for it =P haha....or more like I'd die trying to kill him for it.
um, one suggestion I have is, when the music track changes I think it would of worked better to have it fade out instead of just cut straight to the second track. Other than that everything is on the level, keep up the excellent work and I hope to see more of Bleed in the future.

p.s. You only got a 6 for sound cause I don't like slipknot, but unlike the guy before me bitching about it like a bitch, I think it worked ok for this movie. More system of a down would of been nice though =P

Vermillion2 responds:

kewl, I'm happy you liked the main character, I went through a couple of versions before I decided on keeping this one.
The music fade was kinda troubling to figure out, but I'll try to work more on it on the other episodes.
i appreciate your review, thanx !

that was brilliant!

wow, I can't believe that! Your story was so well constructed (possibly the best story on newgrounds). The art work was beautiful, you have such a great style.
that was well worth the watch!!
I hope to see more of these style and story driven movies from you, as it was nice to see something that wasn't gore and violence based. Don't get me wrong, I love that kind of stuff!! But there is more to movies than blood, guts and gore. I'm a firm believer in storyline driven movies.
thanks for such a great movie!!! =)

wow, thanks man!!

damn, you are my saviour!!!! I haven't used onion skins for such a long time. I guess cause when I first learned them I couldn't animate for shit (not saying I'm all that great now =P ) and I just used tweening for everything. Now that I'm trying to move away from tweening and into the world of frame by frame (REAL animation) onion skins are a totally kick arse tool!
cheers man, you've just helped me become a better animator! =)
you rock!

well I just finished watching all the DBZ fan ep's

and I'm pretty damn impressed! You did a great job on them. Sometimes they were a bit random and sometimes they didn't make sense, but all in all you've done a great series!
it was good to see the progression of the art work. Its good when you see an artist pushing his own creativity to improvement.
it was also good to see a new take on dbz. To often people make dbz flash movies that are just ripped straight off from the series or movies. You offered up a great new take on the genre! Congratualions, awesome series! well bloody done! =)

djchrispy responds:

Thanks alot! That was the whole idea. If any other style had looked like mine, it might have deterred me from finishing this series. But it seemed to be a fresh concept, so I ran with it...for 5 years...
Youll never know how much I appreciate you taking the time to watch my old movies. If one person is entertained for the hour that this series takes to watch then my work has not been in vain. Thank you very much!

whoa!!!

that was brilliant!!! I can't believe that was your first flash movie.
I have only one suggestion, which may or may not be of any use. Generally a completely black object has light lines to indicate detail. For example the black guy's muscle defining lines would be white or a light grey or something. You probably wanted him all black like that, I did notice that when he fired his gun you could see definition lines from the light cast by the gun flash.
anyways the full black worked perfectly, you obviously know what you're doing =) Keep doing it!

that was cool!

I don't really like sprite-based flash movies, but that was really really well done! Congrats, that was way cool! =)

just a few suggestions for you

firstly - the rain. You should use a few more different frames for the rain, say at least 3 or 4. This would give you a more realistic looking rain, as a few or your rain drops were simply piveting in place.
secondly - On the fade out of the heads, you've faded the hair layer to fast and you can see top of the guy's head through his hair.
thirdly - the hair and power up movements. As with the rain, you should of used a few more frames then what you did.

I hope this helps you out for the actual series =)
keep up the good work!

p.s. great choice of music, dead bodies everywhere, top choice!

errrrm....

haven't you submitted this exact thing before?
.....it got blammed I believe?
............you haven't changed it
......................my opinion of it hasn't changed.

it wasn't the worst......but it seemed kinda pointless. Keep trying.

You were way off on this one chief

not to bad...

...but not to interesting either. Your movement animation was very nice and smooth! You definantly put a lot of effort into that, and it shows. Next time try something with characters and a plot. I think you have skill and I bet you can do really well.
keep at it and keep up the good work! I'll be waiting to see what you give us for your next submission =)

I have no message.
